February 2009

February has brought more activities. Brennen has started swimming 2 days a week, the boys are still in Awana and Brennen starts some soccer training on Friday. Rylan has just been registered for preschool next fall and Emery is still happy and growing like crazy. Rylan was sick last week with a temp of 103-105 for four days. Luckily, that was his only symptom and didn't involve messy clean-up type of illness. :) When playing with Legos, one must sit in the Lego bin.

January 2009

January was a busy month. We started out the New Year with Emery and a fever that lasted about 5 days. Grandma Bugga came and spent 3 weeks with us which we loved. Emery is now 9 months old. She weighs 17lbs. 14 ounces and is 28 1/2 inches long. She is growing like crazy. I really wish she would stop! Emery's newest trick is standing in the middle of the room. She has yet to take a step, but she is extremely balanced. She can dance and bounce without falling. I am just fine with her not walking as it is all going way too fast anyway.

On Christmas day, Emery decided to climb the stairs for the first time. We found her a couple stairs up where she grinned at us. Emery then insisted on getting down herself. She wouldn't let us help her at all.


She did get down successfully and Daddy had his hands ready just in case.
