The Waiting Game...

The bets are in and some are slowly getting knocked out of contention. I can't wait to see who made the closest call on our newest little person. My official due date is Monday, the 14th and the waiting game has begun. My body is slowly making some changes, but as we all know it could be another 2 weeks. The baby's head is engaged and currently at a -1 station. Yippee! I am 2+ cm dilated (quieter yippee because I could be that way for weeks). All in all, it is more progress than I had with Rylan "the late one" at this point so that is encouraging. My mom flies in tonight *Triple Yippee!* so I will feel like I can relax a little. Phil is still super busy at work so if the baby waits until about the 16th, it would probably better for us, but we wouldn't complain about meeting this one sooner either. My next appointment is the 16th. We will have the option to have my doctor break my waters (no pitocin for me!) at some point if we are tired of waiting. We will keep you all informed.
