Well, it's official, Brennen had his last day at Bright Discoveries Preschool today. I can't believe that he will be in Kindergarten in the fall. I have to admit that I was a little choked up today, but then again that isn't such a shock coming from me. I get so excited for my boys to grow, learn, and move on to new adventures. However, I am an emotional and sentimental person who easily gets teary-eyed over the small things. Today, all it took was Mrs. Short-Miller's big, loving hugs goodbye and I knew I was going to be in trouble. Then I noticed that Mrs. Thran and Mrs. Reardanz were teared up as well and I knew I was a goner. Preschool was such a great experience for my very social child and I am so thankful to each one of his wonderful teachers. They really responded to Brennen's great enthusiasm about life in general. I really appreciate the tenderness and encouragement that they each brought to him. I know Brennen will be successful in Kindergarten as he is hugely enthusiastic about it. I have to get used to the idea that my little boy is growing and embrace the young elementary student that he is excited to become. *Sniffle!*
