In April, we went to check out the tulips in Skagit Valley. While the boys had fun and humored their mom by looking at a few they were more interested in the mud. Brennen showed Rylan how to pick up mud clumps and throw them. A fun game was born and I was left to look at the tulips by myself. Everyone else was too busy checking out the dirt! Such is the life with the Samuelsen boys. I wouldn't trade it for anything. 
I love this picture! If you look carefully, Brennen is getting a stern talking to and Rylan is looking directly at the camera with his thumb up. I am pretty sure he is thinking, "Yes! My brother is finally getting in trouble!"
