I have to admit, I wasn't totally in the Christmas Spirit about 10 days ago. We had a wonderful trip to Whistler, but came home to the whirlwind of work, school, and 50 degree weather. Normally we get our tree right after Thanksgiving, but since we were gone, we waited an extra week. That and the warm weather threw me a bit. I decorated, but still didn't feel the whole Christmas thing. I am not even sure the kids were feeling it either. And then the snow came. Boy did that change everything! I love it! It actually feels like Christmas time. I love the beauty of the snow, the coziness of the house, the muted sounds of the winter air, and the warmth of baking in my house. Everything just seems to feel more magical now. I know it doesn't change what Christmas is all about, but it sure adds to the magic! :)
We ended up with about 10 inches total. I love it!

Wow, you have snow on your trees. We got so much wind that the trees look bare. Enjoy the snow days!
